Youth Representative

Here at The Mix we know that all young people experience things differently.

We believe that having a diverse group of young voices is vital in shaping the services and support The Mix provides.

We're therefore recruiting people who want to use their connections and people skills to gain insights into the wide range of issues young people may be facing.

Want to become a Youth Representative?

***Unfortunately we are not currently recruiting for this role. If you would like to sign up to be alerted when recruitment reopens, you can do so here.

Due to a huge influx of applicants and returning volunteers over the past months we cant currently facilitate any new volunteers. We do greatly appreciate your support and we hope that applications will reopen in the coming months, so please do check back***

The Mix is here to help 25s and under get to grips with any challenge they face – from mental health to money, from homelessness to finding a job, from break-ups to drugs. Anywhere at any time; online, over the phone or via social media.

The Youth representatives are a group of young people who help diversify the services provided by The Mix. This voluntary role as a Youth Rep will see you as the main contact and advocate for a self-recruited group of under 25’s. By assigning missions to and conducting meetings with these young people you will ultimately gain insights into the wide range of issues that young people may be facing.

Our Youth representatives are all given the opportunity to influence the content that The Mix offers to ensure that help is available for every individual. They’ll work with us to ensure that the services offered are the best they could possibly be.

We hope to have a diverse group of individuals that come from a variety of backgrounds and are passionate about speaking out about their experiences. We welcome and encourage applications from minority groups such as the BAME and LGBTQIA+ community.
