Dixons Carphone has been shortlisted in the Third Sector’s Business Charity Awards 2017 for their ongoing support of The Mix. Now in their eighth year, the awards recognise the outstanding contributions made by UK businesses to the charity sector.

With the support of Dixons Carphone, The Mix has been able to provide life changing help to two million young people in the UK over the past year. The Mix and Dixons Carphone have a shared belief that digital technology can and should be used for good.

Through our joint work with  Heads Together, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry’s campaign, we are also tackling the stigma surrounding mental health and well-being. With Dixons Carphone’s support, The Mix is working to become the first point of contact for any young person seeking help or information on any subject wherever and whenever they need it.

“We’re really pleased that our work with Dixons Carphone has been recognised in this way – it’s a ground breaking partnership born out of a shared vision – to make digital a force for good in the lives of young people. We want to thank everyone at Dixons Carphone for being #thereforus and for all those brilliant people who have walked, trekked, run, or jumped to raise money for us this year. Together we can ensure that every young person who needs help, on whatever topic, whenever they are, and whenever they want it, gets it.” Donna Holland, Director of Fundraising & Development at The Mix.
