KITTENS!
Former Member
I used to have a cat, for many years when I was younger. when I was down, I remember stroking her was an instant pick me up, even if slight. I recently got a kitten again and she gives me such joy. It's a bond where apart from the basics (food, shelter) pets don't expect anything off of you, but they can sense your mood, your sadness, your happiness and they act as a little pick me up, making you feel that little bit less low.
