Our fantastic volunteers are all part of our mission to do everything we possibly can to support young people.

At The Mix you can make a direct difference to the lives of young people, whether it’s through peer to peer support in our online community or one to one support online or via the phone. If you’re looking for one off or short-term opportunities, you can also use your ideas to help us develop news tools and services to help young people.

How volunteering works at The Mix

When you volunteer at The Mix you can take part in online and offline volunteering that is exciting, challenging and rewarding. Volunteers with The Mix can gain CV skills and get the chance to meet other friendly, interesting people. The majority of our volunteers are trained using e-learning courses from which they receive badges and in some cases OCN qualifications (equivalent to A* to C at GCSE level). Become a moderator for our message boards by supporting young people, signposting and fostering community relations. Any time, any day across seven days a week.
