Can I claim Jobseeker’s Allowance while studying?

It sounds like you want to know if you can still sign on for Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) once you start this new course.

You can still receive JSA as long as you are not in full time study which it sounds like you’re not.

It sounds as if you have been given conflicting advice on what you need to do in regards to your JSA- you say you have been told by the Job Centre that you still need to sign on yet your course provider is saying something different. The best thing to do is would be to seek clarification form the Job Centre Plus as they would be responsible for your payments.
