Join us this May for the Youth Sector Event of the Year!

The Mix is joining forces with nine other youth organisations to bring together young people and the youth sector at an unparalleled event: Creative Collisions. We’d very much like you to join us.

Creative Collisions 2017 is about harnessing the energy, talent and commitment of young people. It will bring together more than 500 attendees from across the sector, including youth workers, volunteers, sector experts and young people, to spark connections, share ideas, bridge divides and forge a positive future for young people and youth organisations across the UK.

UK Youth, Leap Confronting Conflict, The Scout Association, Girlguiding, NCS, Ambition, NYA, The Mix and VInspired will come together for the first time to speak with one collective voice as we explore the big issues and set an agenda for positive action. Sponsored by the Wellcome Trust, the event will identify innovative ways we can bridge the gap between young people and the world around them – through technology, sharing best practice and finding ways to collaborate on the ground.

Creative Collisions will focus on issues like social mobility, online safety, gender and LGBTQ issues and Brexit to name a few. There will be interactive sessions exploring STEM, video blogging and more.

More than 100 free tickets will be made available to those aged 16-25. Young people will be invited to lead many of the sessions and workshops on the day.
