Important Announcement: Our Helpline Service is changing

Two young people are sitting against the backdrop of a night sky, talking to each other. This represents the difference it can make to get support for living with a stutter

We are always looking for the best way to best way to support young people so we are excited to announce that we are making some exciting changes to our Helpline Service. These changes follow extensive consultation with young people and our wonderful volunteers and forms part of a strategic plan to move our services towards early intervention and to increase the role played by young people in our work.

To facilitate this transition, our Helpline will be paused from 31st May as our staff prepare to launch a new and exciting peer support service.

Until then, our Helpline remains open and available for you to use. So, if you do need to talk, don’t hesitate to reach out over the next couple of weeks.

And remember, we’re still here with all our other services:

  • Crisis Messenger: 24/7 text-based support for any issue on your mind.
  • Counselling Service: Short-term help with your mental health and emotional wellbeing.
  • Chatbot: Fast information on a range of topics from relationships to mental health.
  • Discussion Boards and Community: A safe space to get support online from other young people going through similar experiences.

Thank you for being a part of The Mix community and for your patience as we complete this important new work.

Stay tuned for more updates!
